Photo Shoots/Filming
A permit from the Airport Director's Office is required of anyone wishing to conduct commercial photo shoots or filming at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Permit applicants also must pay all applicable location, labor and administrative fees and provide required proof of insurance prior to taking photos or filming. Photo shoots or filming in areas leased by airlines, food or retail concessions, or other entities also require approval of the respective leaseholder.

Location Fee
Photo Shoot Involving up to Six People
- Up to two hours $100
- Each additional hour $50
Photo Shoot Involving More than Six People
- Up to two hours $200
- Each additional Hour $100
Film/Video Production Involving up to Six People
- Up to two hours $250
- Each additional hour $150
Film/Video Production Involving Seven to 15 People
- Up to two hours $1,000
- Each additional hour $225
Film/Video Production Involving more than 15 People
- Up to two hours $2,000
- Each additional hour $450
MAC Employee Labor Charges*
- Electricians $52.50/hour
- Building Service Workers $50.00/hour
- Police Sergeant $67.55/hour
- Police Officer $54.38/hour
- Community Service Officer $50.00/hour
- Airside Ops. Asst. Manager $58.50/hour
- MAC Escort $50.00/hour
* Hourly rates reflect the standard rates. Double-time rates apply on Sundays and holidays.
Administrative Fee
A 12% administrative fee is applied to the total
